  1. because they live for makin money...i got fired from target because i didnt come in on my day off when i had other plans...they didnt even give me notice just hey we need you here

  2. Because they want you right away and don't really care about your other job. They want to see how committed you are.

  3. Because you're nothing to them and are expendable.  My advice:  be happy-go-lucky regarding your career.  Life's too short to be hen-pecked by your employer.

  4. It's just the way how employers do their things.  Just like we need to give our employer 2 weeks notice when we resign but they can just fire us at any moment notice.  Just like they want us to do 3 days worth of work in 8 hours, yet, they don't want to pay overtime.  Not all employers are like that though.  But it is the common practice.

  5. Hello Boss. My house is going to catch fire in four hours And although I know, it is going to happen unexpectedly just before time to leave for work. But if you need me, I'll let my family burn. IN YOUR DREAMS!

  6. Because employers don't care. They are there to make money and so on.

My hubby is Air Force and he is to be available 24/7 to give up family and plans as he gets the calls for trivial sh*t.

There's no job that will ever come between me and my family. My family is first and because of my husbands career I can stay at home with our son and when my 2nd little boy is born... I will be here for him too.

I say most jobs aren't worth the hassle but you need to make a living somehow. I would sue those who fire for that.

  7. They most likely don't care about you as a human. You're just a number to them. A robot. Quit.
