The atmosphere consists of air that moves in response to certain changes of heat, kinetic energy, etc. One way air moves is by convection, where hot air rises and cold air sinks due to differences in pressure. This can cause currents of wind to form, which may or may not build up into tornadoes. Spinning motions are easier to sustain than straight line motions because straight line motions more likely causes the object to hit something and lose its kinetic energy. Spinning motions, however, can have a high momentum, while at the same time, have a smaller chance of hitting something and losing its energy. This is why tornadoes are so much more dangerous than winds.

i am a christian and i believe that all of these natural disasters are signs. in Jamaica we recently  experienced a hurricane. its was the worst in history but it all stopped when this lady saw an unfamiliar light coming from outside and she started to pray asking god to stop this hurricane.and she said that she heard a voice from the light saying that if Jamaica does not stop its wicked ways  god  will destroy  this island.in Jamaica we have alot of church per 60 km and i think that these churches are keeping us alive.

Now if we look at it in social studies we will learn that ,1. movements of the earth crust cause earthquakes, 2. excessive heat in the atmosphere causes hurricanes, 3. improper garbage disposal can cause flooding, eg. throwing garbage in drains.

we are doing harm to the nature.  The nature doing harms to us living in the world.  what help we did to the nature ?  Atleast, we have no need to help the nature, but you are doing all actions against the nature.  How many years it will tolerate your/our harm?

Generally,  hurricanes and stroms will come from june to november middle as usual all over the world.  we don't know in which direction it will come and go, but we know it will do harm.  what preventive methods we adopted?  you can be safe atleast for some quarters and 100% we can't escape.  volcanoe are not all over the universe.  it comes again and again from some particular places only.  Flash floods .. we know when it will come and spoil the grains.  The main reason for earth quake and for other disasters are our increased population, environmental, making cultivated lands into many factories and thereby smokes, dirty waters.  There are disasters in past centuries too, but people not affected so much to this level, for which the population is also a reason. we are not growing trees, plants which has power to ease the tension of the natures, but surprisingly, we are cutting the grown trees, ruins the forests, making many disasters to the nature.  The trees, forests are the real savers from disasters.  Geologists, envirolements specialists are giving due warnings and crying at their best, but who cares ? whether you are having law or not,  whether you follow the law or evading the law of the land, but the nature has the law which will not be changed and it is doing its duty and when it is doing its duty, we face many disasters.  i hope you are not expecting me to explain how the disasters occurs.  Hence, don't find reasons for natural disasters or blame, since the route cause for all are our people. you help nature, and the nature will help you.  The disasters will come and go and surely, when you help the nature, it will not do so much harm.  Take action to preventive methods as possible  ..see, recently one week ago, china faced the natural disaster of earth quake.  The animals behaved strangely,  peococks gave sounds unusually, toads in streets..so, we got warning from the animals, but these strange actions we find as tom and jerry comics, but no one seriously thinking their behaviours and we didn't take their warnings promptly and finally we face sorrows and sads.  one or two like you begin to search reasons behind the natural disasters..you go your way, i go my way, he will go his way and the people will go their way and there is no one to hear what we say.  thanks..

There is no reason or anything to blame for natural disasters.  As the population of earth grows and as people migrate to difference places that are in potential danger.

what you consider as disasters.. volcona, earth quakes, stroms and hurricanes, mud sliding, heavy floods, torandos, wild fire, snow falls etc.,  am i right ?

proceed...   see,  it is the law of the nature that whatever has been created is sustained and eventually destroyed.  Destruction comes in many forms.  most of the natural disasters have an effect on the earth's surface.  Rock slides, erupting volcanoes, tidal wave, like tsunami, floods etc.,  mud slides often occur becoz the natural vegetarian has been removed from steel slopes. when there is rainfall the soil laer comes unstable and slides down.  For earth quakes the earth plates moving in the opposite directions of each other, a great amount of pressure will impose to lithosphere and breaks when pressure is great. what about volcanoe ?  Their shapes and eruption styles are determined ny many  factors including pressures and amount of gas and magma(molten rock) raising to the surface with debris.Take tsunami,  the connection of earth plate in the rare end of the universe ecos in the sea making a quake under the sea and thus tidal wave has strength which makes to come in force out of the area and got power to go even 79 square miles with heavy force.  The low pressure makes stroms and hurricanes which begins in the warm ocean water 80 degree franheat.  The wind in the same direction makes to force air upwards from the ocean surface.  This is called low pressure and it got its own cruel and heavy force and surprisingly joins with other wind force called hurricanes and flow the directions finds way. so, strom.  you need not be explained for heavy floods, and snow stroms which are known to all.

As i said above, the reason behind will be the law of nature of which one can't change but can follow.  What are all we need, say air, fire, water, of course river.. we say and doing in control.  when one thing happens uncontrollable called disasters..

Finally, i can explain more and more on each and paras to paras and the the space is a reason and simple answer i gave will reach your satisfaction, i hope.

The human population are more increase day by day and our people are destroying the natural resources, making the jungles into forests, cutting the trees,  making cultivated lands into flats and factories and we are allowing the nature to be a nature.. and thereby the nature shows its true colours in the form of disasters.. will humans realise their mistakes ?  no  the humans will never realise because they are,..i mean we are humans.  see, the animals know the coming disasters.. you can see strange actions..because it has 5 senses..whereas we got 6 sense, we have to know to safeguard the natures..are we doing this ?  if you say  'no'  then worrying about the natural disasters and finding reasons, raising questions ..etc.,   no use.  i am pointing about humans in general.  thank you.
