  1. Because they are not open to anothers viewpoint. There is their opinion and then the wrong one.

  2. Usually because they are trying to spread some sort of propoganda themselves like little one man news agencies.Freedom of speech and all that.

  3. i have blocked offensive users

i have posted one who makes outrageous allegations about anyone who does not share his distorted view of the world

he is fond of calling people terrorists, paedophiles (a favourite) etc etc

i also block new users who post provocative questions as they  may be trolls (or the aforementioned user)

i think anyone who sees someone posting disgusting rants about other users should block and report that user for the sake of every other poster

  4. Because they are closed off individuals who don't want to hear anything else but their version of the answer.Very sad and not the point of Q&A.

  5. presumably bcoz they only want answers from ppl who agree with them

maybe they want questions like "do you agree with blah?"

    yes

    yes

    yes

    yes

    yes

cant see the point in asking questions in that case but each to their own

  6. Because they can.

  7. i never blocked anybody

we should learn to deal with people we dont agree with and listen to their side of the story unlesss they are particularly nasty and then we should report them

  8. Coz they immature wankers

    end of

  9. I have no problem with a difference of opinion but I do with those who's only aim is to abuse and be personal to the questioner. The aim is to answer not abuse. So if people are blocked for that reason, then they have brought it on themselves..
