  1. A broken bone will heal rapidly once cared and casks from a doctor and a ligament will heal however the person with a torn ligament suffer greater because that person he will have problem walking using hands arms etc the person will have to go to the doctor about every week the max or every month to see hows the person doing.

It can be possible that the ligament can be repaired however its very expensive and most insurance cant or wont cover it and it will take months to heal if taking proper rest.

When having a torn ligament your bones wont connect properly organs etc you can be hospitalized for the rest of your life if what not however it will heal if doctor performed surgical treatments.

  2. In general, broken bones can repair themselves by growing new bone in the break, so unless there are complications depending on the type and location of the fracture, healing time on an uncomplicated fracture can be relatively fast compared to ligament injuries.  Ligaments cannot repair themselves and often result in long-term instability and pain.

  3. Unfortunately at different times I have had a fracture and torn ligaments in the ankle. The ligament injuries hurt more and took longer to heal. I was in a cast for 8 weeks that time.

  4. Because many people would like to experience a broken bone, having a cast, and being less able for six weeks rather than a month.

  5. Once a broken bone is healed, it's healed. A torn ligament will keep giving you problems even after it's healed.
