  1. Yes, they are very irritating...

They just want to get some attention they don't deserve.

  2. Celtish, such stereotyping is beneath you. Leave it for Mike T.

  3. Just rest easy that you don't ever suffer the sore throat that comes after; by the way could you please pass me a throat lozenge?  Tell you what I'll wrestle you for that gene; oh my kingdom for the non-screaming gene!

  4. Well, I'm female, and I don't shriek or scream at nothing.  So, tell me how you will defend your women shriek and scream more than men argument again??

I personally don't like when anybody skrieks or screams.  It hurts my ear drums.  I especially can not stand that brown haired judge on "You think you can dance"  who has that horrible, whiny voice, complete with a loud shrieking scream.  Ugh.

Oh yeah, and I have met a few men who have practically popped my ear drums as well.  Maybe I'll gather them up and put you in a room with them, and see how you feel then.

  5. Honey-sorry to hear about your dull life. They're not doing it right if you aren't both making some serious noise.

  6. Well... yes, women do. I once called a girl on the phone and told her my name, and she screamed in excitement... in spite of never having seen me in years... and never having a serious relationship with her...

Anyway, women are emotional, sensual creatures. It is instinct for them to scream in certain situations. This behavior likely comes from pre-historic times, when the world was a much more dangerous place. Violence was everywhere, and women were and still are mostly unable to defend themselves from larger, stronger men. Screaming for help was their only option... women ARE weaker, softer, and smaller by nature...

Today, violence is much less, as we have laws, police, armies, etc... but the instinct still remains... it IS irritating, but I understand that it had/has a purpose. If my girlfriend were to be attacked by some guy, I would want her scream for help... that way, I'd know she was in danger (assuming I can hear her...)

  7. Natural selection explains the shriek as a mechanism that was good for the survival of  females  back when we lived in small tribes around  a campfire., as they were vulnerable to attack in that setting and the shriek was both a good locator and alarm.

  8. Yes, I have found that most of this do this. I have even been one of the shriekers then I realize how stupid I sound. I guess it's just a natural reaction for women, it just need to be controlled for safety issues. Say your hiding from a stalker or something that trait would be bad!

  9. Yes, I completely agree.  That is very irritating.  I can think of many other things that women do that are stupid, in fact I agree with you, and think that most things women do are stupid.  In fact a few years ago I realized that I hated women, and that is when I realized I wanted nothing to do with them and started having s*x with men.  I can tell from your attitude that you secretly feel the same way.

  10. I wish I had a video of what my sweetie does whenever he sees a spider. It blows any shrieking I've ever done right out of the water.
