Why do many women think its normal to abuse themselves and each other?

*Between 100 and 140 million girls and women in the world are estimated to have undergone female genital mutilation and 3 million girls are estimated to be at risk of undergoing female genital mutilation every year. Female genital mutilation has been documented in 28 countries in Africa and in several countries in Asia and the Middle East.

*In America women are brainwashed to think their worth is based on their looks and if they mutilate their bodies and stick silicone in them, they would be worth more.(16 year olds asking for breast implants for their bday)

society as a whole (in america) is very very stupid. media controlls their lives and the way they behave. they are sheep. they are not taught about self worth as often as they are taught about social acceptance. whoa with the female genital mutilation, what in gods name...are they chopping off thier clitz or something?!

Women don't think any of that is normal. Other than the silicone thing, which is disgusting, the other events you describe are not choices. It is forced upon them.
