BUT, did you know that for years after they leave?......we maintain that staff?  they keep all benefits for years as they close down their congress station...honest....

To cover all their "little lies" and make us, the people, pay more on taxes !

I guess it's the only way that they can perform their duties especially here in Manila that most are elected without the proper qualification and won elections thru popularity or well funded campaigns. Further, 80% of these congressmen attends functions more often than doing their work to serve their respective communities.

yes.  they have offices in their home states as well as in washington.  they need someone to co-ordinate everything.  i think you would be amazed at how many people are on a congressmans payroll.
