Why do men feel the need to watch p**n?

The biggest myth here is that all men do. Not all men do. I know plenty of guys who spent their teenage years watching p**n and got bored to death of it.

Men watch it because they have been conditioned to watch it. They are told from a young age that 'real men separate their emotions from s*x', and of course, p**n is the ultimate representation of that. p**n is also a symbol of male power, so you can see why it's encouraged. It's also a huge myth when people say men 'are just hardwired' to watch p**n - that's bullshit, frankly.

Not all men feel the need to watch p**n, and anyone who tells you otherwise is probably trying to justify his own actions.

because the wife is not always around.. personally I love watching p**n and my bf gave me all his p**n and transferred it to my comp... its not that you being attractive or not having to do with any of it.. just watching two people go at it is the fun.. you learn so much from these as well. my man knows a ton and i have p**n to thank.. don't hate on it ..ur the one missing out

It is not a need (unless it is an addiction which is rare) but a choice. Besides, adult entertainment has become socially acceptable and women are expected to be OK with it. I do not feel the urge to look at men other than my husband. p**n movies are not movies per se since there is no developing plot but a senseless series of clips that depict the same stuff over and over. While I find it amusing every once in a while to see things that I would never try myself (like shoving a half gallon coca cola bottle up my derriere or walking in high heels over my husband's genitals) p**n itself is boring.

Even a 'really attractive' woman (and man alike) becomes dull to look at after a while. That's where we decide to be loyal to our significant others.

People are naturally curious about s*x.  It is normal to want to watch p**n.  It has absolutely nothing to do with your partner or lack of one.  p**n, can be a hobby, for lack of another word.   Men like sports-that attraction being separate from a relationship with their wife, men like to work....men like cars, ie people have multi personalities.  Dont take it as a slight or let it attack your own self esteem.....just because a man watches p**n doesnt mean he isnt attracted to you !!
