   Generally, from my own experience, many reds are sharp, and this because of tannins - many women dislike

    otherwise, whites are more subtle, have a moderate acidity, and no or nearly no tannins - this is why women prefer

Actually, never noticed.  I drank nothing but red wine for 34 years, same goes for my wife.  About 2 years ago I started experimenting  with whites.  Today I purchase as much whites as I do red.  My wife will drink some whites but, prefers  reds most of the time.  It all comes down to taste not s*x.

I prefer red wine. I think white whine tastes really crappy.

I like red MUCH better. My husband had to learn to drink blush first.
