Why do men spit so much?

They seem to spit more than women....why?

it's those little crinkly hairs that get caught in between our teeth while we're 'munching the carpet'.

It isn't all men.  Gentlemen do not spit.  If you've taken notice it's a certain class of men that who have not been taught etiquette and manners that spit and don't care when and where they spit.  And as far as women spitting, it's very, very rare, if ever that I have seen a woman spit in public.  Spitting is a nasty and vulgar habit.  It looks very, very atrocious and leads one to believe that the person doing the spitting has absolutely no manners at all.  I've often wished when I've seen a man spit that the wind would rush backwards and that the nasty wad of spit would return right back into their face....perhaps that would stop them from performing their nasty habit.

Because they have no manners and they think it looks tough but actually it just looks disgusting.
