Why do men wake up looking the same as when they went to bed?

because we are not false,have you not seen some of your so called stars without make up yuck.

Make-Up.  Men don't wear it (ordinarily) and therefore you don't wake up to a shock! LOL!  Personally, I am a lady who does not wear make-up, so no surprises for my partner either!!

Because men don't usually have long hair to mess up at night, they don't wear makeup, and most sleep in their underwear so they don't have PJ's to wrinkle.
