to do something to change?

Jesus said: Take this Yoke. Yoga means to Yoke to Spirit. Jesus said to "Worship in Spirit." In all likelihood, that worship was the "Yoke" Jesus was talking about.

And of course people think that the gospels have nothing about enlightenment. But Jesus said: Become the "Children of the Light." more on my biography.

It's all in there. People just refuse to see it because they were taught the Pauline gospel instead of the Kingdom Gospel about light.

Look it up for yourself and see what Jesus said about "light" and what he said about "sacrifice" All good on the first, negative on the second.

So why do so many refuse to recognize the "light in thee", the yoga, (and even the repentance of sackcloth and ashes) in the gospels? Are they afraid that they might have to really do something in order to change (Sermon on the Mount)?

  1. There is a similarity in the teachings of East and West, only different words are used. Much of the esoteric teachings were given privately and are hidden from the general public as they would not understand them, so parables were given instead. That's why the Master taught his personal disciples in private yet even they did not always comprehend.

By coincidence, see this book "The Yoga of the Christ" online e-book.

    http://murdomacdonaldbayneyoga.homestead...

It is closely connected to the Master.

  2. They refuse to consider any sources that seek to reveal the Eastern nature behind a majority of Jesus' teachings.  This is no different.

  3. " "Yoga" has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ! "

Matthew 6:22  "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light".

Revelation 2:1 "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks."

    Maybe, maybe not.

  4. Everything you're deriding actually is in the standard interpretation of Scripture and Christianity, although I agree many don't want to do anything about it.

And you don't need to sit with your feet up your bum to do it.

You know, you're really inconsistent with yourself.  Why do you imply 'sacrifice' as a negative, and 'repentance' as good: without understanding that repentance IS sacrifice?

  5. Well, it's probably because, if you look at the text honestly, it's not there.  Reading it in isn't the same thing as it being there.

  6. Good Grief!

Talk about twisting things!  This really takes the cake!

You might as well say that Jesus said we should make children suffer, since the King James rendition says "Suffer the little children"

Come on baby, let's do the twist.

Come on ba-by, let's do the twist.

Let's all twist, and it goes like this:

Take a word out of contextual setting,

    Give it a new meaning,

And build a false argument around your twisted premise.

    Hey now, it's twistin' time,

Come on baby, it's twistin' time.

Come on everybody, let's do the twist.

Ok, I'm not even going to try to correct your nonsense.  It's just too ridiculous!

  7. "Yoga" has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jesus Christ!  (That is only a 'man-made', self-centered, 'enlightenment' delusion from the 'New Age' movement.

  8. It seams that you believe that you are right they why you are even bothered about others teachings?
