Why do moms like hugging their sons so much..?

I'm 13 years old and my mom always wants me to hug her, and i dont want to but I usually just hug her quick, why do they like hugging so much?

They want to show you love. Sometimes kids feel that when they get older, they aren't loved as much. My brothers used to hate it too!!!!

We cant help it ,protection and love is the one thing that we have as soon as you are born. I know it must be a pain sometimes but go with it please. You make your mums day ,she loves you and some children are not that lucky. You never know if she stopped you may just miss it .x

that's a no brainer..why does youe mom have to stop loving you because your 13...3yrs ago hugs were ok and 5 yrs ago hugs were great and 8yrs ago you would have cried if she left the room with out giving you a hug!

So give your mom a break...

It hard to let go...maybe you can just hug her to say Thanks for all she does !!

I have three sons.  14, 12 and 10.   They are around your age.  They sometimes "act like I embarrass them"  but I don't care.  One of these days, they are going to be all grown up and out of the house.  I want to give them as much love, hugs and kisses...they are never going to be that age again.

Maybe this will help you understand your Mom a little better.  

When you are all grown up...you will look back and think of the times your mom hugged you.  Not ever kid has a Mom that hugs them. That don't have it that good.

Because moms love there children soooo much! Even though your getting older your mom doesnt want you to! Make sure you giveyour mom lots of love and stay close because one day you may not have her.

She's proud of you and just wants to hold you tight! I know it sounds soo corny, but it's true. You should walk up one day and give her a big hug for no reason. She'll remember it forever!! I make my 2 year old give kisses and hugs all the time, it just makes me happy to be so lucky.
