I've noticed this consistent pattern when having sales. Hardly anyone stops on Sunday. Why is this?

  1. People probably figure it's the second day of the sale and anything that was worth getting has already been got. What's left is junk or over-priced things.

  2. The early bird catches the worm!

Some people have their sales starting on Fridays so that by Sunday they can take a break.

  3. Joe Z is correct, people go to church on Sundays and usually plan family lunches or dinners, or even picnics on this day.

  4. People go to church in the mornings on Sunday, it is also often the day to sleep in.
