Shouldn't they use NASCAR's sanctioned Camping World series instead? This has always bothered me.

  1. That's a good question, but I would say it has to do with money and the tracks that they race on.

The ARCA-Remax Series races on some of the same tracks as the Cup series, and most of the races are televised, giving the sponsors more exposure, therefore saving the teams money.

Also, ARCA  pays more than the Camping World Series. I've always considered ARCA to be the series directly below the Truck Series.

  2. It's been a long tradition of NASCAR teams to use what used to be termed as "ABC" developement. A= ARCA B=BUSCH (NOW NATIONWIDE) C=CUP. 10-15 years ago all drivers seemed to follow this path. Not so much now. But the ARCA cars are usually used former Cup cars purchased from some of the top Cup teams. So it would speed up the "learning curve" of a up and coming driver to drive a car with a similar wheel base. The Camping World series's cars seem to me to be more similar to Nationwide cars. If a team wants to accelerate a young driver it would make sense to do ARCA-TRUCK-CUP due to wheel base and aero aspects.

  3. they can come get you out you're house if they think you can drive

  4. $$$$$$$$$

  5. Team Blue pretty much nailed it on the head. He beat me to the punch!! Oh well haha.

  6. It was nice to see a normal question asked, and great answer  by TeamBlue.

  7. ARCA and Camping World are basically the same thing. Personally, I'd rather start my racing career out in ARCA than Camping World.
