Question:

Why do morning radio DJ's never offer sympathy to those running late?

You always hear them say "its ten to nine and traffic's running well on the north circular between the hangar lane..." and never "its ten to nine and oh god there's lots of you out there who are running tremendously late due to this that or the other..."

When I'm running late I want a little sympathy from the DJ, not just him being all happy that its ten to nine. Its allright being ten to nine for him, sat cosy in his studio ready to clock off at 9.30 - but I'm late!

  2. they dont give a fig there at worl already

  3. cos they've been sat there since about 5 in the morning and think you're all lazy shunts

  4. What R U nuts? Get up 10 minutes earlier. The morning team's been there since 4am (no later) to prepare so your sorry butt can get to work on time and what, you forgot!?

BTW, the normal shift is either 5-9 or 6-10. Smaller markets will sometimes go 5-10, but tthat's a long time for a morning crew. Been there, can testify to that.

So wake up sleepy-head, it's our job to tell you the deal, not stroke your lazy ego ;<)
