don't bite my other two domestic short hair cats? How can I keep them from biting her? She's inside at night but has access to the yard during the day.

Anyone else had this problem?

  1. uhhm, maybe her ears are filled with veins with lots of blood in it, and you know what they say: if the mosquitoes keep biting you- that means your blood is sweet. so she is sweet, kiss her every time she gets bitten and get an anti-mosquito lamp, and she'll forgive you :)

  2. because her blood is healthy

  3. beacuz more hair = mor oxygen in blood mosquitos like mor oxygen blood

  4. I recommend that you keep your cat indoors temporarily while you overcome that mosquitos problem. Mosquito control is extremely important otherwise your cat may be at risk for contracting some skin diseases such as heartworm. The heartworms can cause allergic reactions, inflammation, and fluid buildup in the lungs. Often, the most common symptoms in cats are coughing and vomiting.

Keeping cats indoors is very helpful, especially during the times of the day when mosquitoes are most active - dawn and dusk. Some cats with a known hypersensitivity are treated with lower doses of steroids intermittently through the mosquito season. Insect repellents which contain pyrethrin can be used
