Why do most drivers, instead of using their directional just STOP in the middle of the road then turn?

That is beyond annoying, and dangerous. I have no problem beeping at them because if I rare-ended them, they wouldn't be paying for it....I would.

Any judgement calls can suck it....

Most drivers do use their turn signals. Even if they didn't, if you were paying attention and you weren't tailgating it wouldn't be a big problem for you.

If you want to call this a judgment call, you first, and you only.
