Is it because:(A) They physically can't operate the indicator when both hands are actively steering the car.

(B)They don't know the road rules.

(C) Couldn't be bothered, other drivers should be able to see which way I'm going.

(D) In my state it's not required.

  1. In my community, most drivers do indicate when exiting a roundabout.  I think its becuase: roundabouts are relatively new here; the rules were well publicized in advance; there was discussion about them in the paper editorials; and we live a town where people take pride in being polite.

  2. it runs the electric bill up at home...............

  3. (B)   They don't know the road rules.

  4. imo answer c, couldn't be bothered aka ignorance! especially annoying when this happens on a double roundabout

  5. A, B, and C apply here in New Zealand.

Admittingly so it can be awkward to indicate while turning the wheel etc but its still no excuse if you get pulled up. I know that I get frustrated when giving way at a roundabout when a driver doesn't indicate and I can't tell where they are going. Seen a few accidents caused by this too.
