  1. EGO!! My Friend, EGO!! Hey, if the Tiger can do it!! So can we!!  They have no sense of golf etiquette. They probably hold up the whole course as well

  2. They think they are better than they are really, trying to challenge themselves, don't want to look bad in front of friends hitting from closer up tees.

  3. Most people arent as good as they think they are.  Everybody is a big fish in some pond somewhere.  The amount of golf ignorance out there is overwhelming.

  4. Pride with a side of Ego.

  5. My friends and I always play the Blues to keep our index consistent and for the challenge. I promise that when I can't hit driver 220 anymore you will see me on whites. I guess a guy could even play the reds but I'll quit before that.

  6. Theyre trying to get their moneys worth, but its a bad idea.  Slows up play, and these dudes end up firing 130 for 18!?!?!

  7. Shear and utter stupidity.

  8. Pride.
