I got pregnant when i was just 12. I did not know what s*x was at the time and i never had a boyfriend. everyone who finds out about this has called me a s**t before they even asked me about it. the truth is that i was raped. when i got home i told my mom what happened and that is when i found out about s*x. now my daughter is 5 and she thinks i am her sister. she thinks my mom is her mom and she has no clue that her dad is in jail. i plan on telling her i am her mother when she turns 10 or 11. but i just want to know why people always judge me for what happened before they even know! does anyone have any ideas on why this happens?

  1. Well thats just how the world turns. many people just assume that stuff. you are in my prayers and i hope that the person who raped you spends the rest of his life in jail because what he did to you is disgusting and unaccaptable under all circumstances.

  2. Young girls getting raped is something that happens to many young girls in America. People just make fun of you probably because of the fact that you got pregnant when you were only 12. You got raped and their was nothing you probably could've done about that.  People who are bullies like the ones who make fun of you just project their insecurities (if thats how it's spelled) on others because they may have problems of their own. Don't let them bother you. They have no idea what you have gome through. Just do your best to try to ignore them and continue to care for your daughter. Don't let them bother you. They have no idea what you have gome through.

  3. They judge because so many kids are having s*x today they just stereotype you.  That sucks, but we are all judged in some ways in life by plenty of people.  Some who won't admit to it.  U know what happened and u don't have to explain your situation...it's no one's business but your own.

  4. Because people are stupid, superficial and judgemental, that's why. I'm 25 and have a 5 year old. I got pregnant at the age of 18 and people think I am a s**t as well. I wasn't raped though, it was consent and it was with my then fiance. Pregnancy wasn't planned and we were using protection (I hate trojans, dang condom broke but it was the only thing we had to use at that point in time). So, I'm a s**t and a w***e. Thing is, people also think I am full of **** when I tell them I've only had s*x of any kind (both oral and intercourse) with one man in my entire life and that IS my ex fiance.

Like I said, people are just stupid like that.

  5. Some people don't have anything better to do and are horrible people themselves that need to put down others to feel better. You shouldn't have to explain to any one except your daughter. Having been throught such an ordeal is traumatizing enough with out having to relive it by explaining it to ignorant people.

  6. well just dont tell anyone....or tell them u were raped.

  7. Some people are just stupid and it doesnt matter what the case is they will judge you and assume whatever.

Just dont tell them what happened to you.

  8. because some people are a******s....

why would you tell her when she's 10? you should just keep life as it is.

  9. People are a******s!  Even if I assumed the worst about you...I would at least realise that you were already paying enough consequences and did NOT need my judgement in addition to that!  Sheesh!  I mean...even if I thought it was your fault...people make mistakes...you just have to keep trying to do your best.  I think you're an awesome mother, and it's wonderful that you didn't have an abortion.  I think your little girl will be happy and accepting of you as a mom when she learns the truth.  Goodluck with everything, and just ignore ignorance!

  10. oh wow, im so sorry. People are just ignorant that's all. Don't let it bother you.

  11. omg.....im very sorry for you...you made me cry!!!!lol wth.....because sweety the world is cold. You are strong . keep going.....

    God bless you

  12. because people are mean in this world but you know the truth in your heart..don't worry about what the world thinks, they are not bringing up your daughter..you are.

Its amazing how you are bringing up u're daughter after what you went through..i would not tell her especially so young-10 ,she might hate herself after knowing the truth

  13. Cause people generally suck!

The same type of people who abuse you (or allowed it)

                                           Choose to

                                                Judge You,

Who cares what they think, what can they do?

Rely on yourself.  You have been able to survive so far due to your inner strength and possibly your Mom.

God bless and I hope for properity and happiness for you in the near future!

  14. Ooh. I feel bad for you. And your daughter.

People are judgmental when they don't understand the whole story. It's just human nature.

  15. Kids are mean. They think because it hasn't happened to them makes them better. I would transfer schools if I was you and then at your new school don't tell anyone. People look for insucirty in other people to make themselves look big. try to ignore them or switch out. don't let it get to you ok stay strong!

  16. your gonna mess her up by letting her belive your her sister for so long

  17. well you cant blame them judging you when they dont know you were raped, thats kind of obvious.. if you want them to know what really happened you should tell them and they'll understand. but anyway, who cares about what ppl think?

oh and u didnt know what s*x was when you were 12?? omg i was like 4 years old when i found out

you shouldn't let your daughter believe she's your sister for that long.. really, trust me.

  18. people assume things and they love to pass judgment on others, i think it makes them feel better about themselves to find flaws in others

  19. That is just the way society has become. The way I see it you have three options:

    1) don't let it get to you.

    2) explain the situation to them when they confront you.

    3) Tell them you were raped, then ask them who told them about it, then say "thank you," slap them in the face, then go find that person, and repeat the process until you have slapped everyone in the face.
