Why do most people not know or respect the intelligence of crows?

Because they are in a lot of places, people don't treat them with respect. Here's an interesting piece. Well worth reviewing, showing the intelligence of crows.

Well, probably because it's a CROW. Oh man... it's a bird. It can't reason, it can't understand, and I can eat it. But that's just me. I think human beings are more interesting. We haven't been around that long and we have already dominated the entire planet. Yay humans!!

Because people simply don't care about animals. It bothers me so much that they would rather spend their money on new cars or new houses then help the enviroment. All they care about is themsleves. Ok back to the question , the reason the crows have a bad rep is because they usually send chills down peoples spines when they hear them, they are a sign of death and curse, But the truth is they are as special as any other animal. They also might have gotton a bad rep by eating road kill or scavenging and eating dead things.

because crows are loathsome animals, i do however respect the intelligence of ravens, ravens can even learn to talk. you just have to split their tongue
