Why do most people think I'm lying when I say I've never tried drugs?

I'm 21 and when most people find out I've never even tried pot or anything they don't believe me.

Is it that common for people to have tried drugs?! I had no idea...

I'm the same....I guess because everyone is so ruined!! Just because we are concerned with our health, and don't want to ruin our lives, people get shocked...Don't waste your time telling people, its something to be proud of on the inside.

can't say as i have ever met anyone over 14 that hasn't tried at least weed. never met but 1 virgin older than that also! i do kinda live in a bad area though!

I think there are a good amount of people that have tried drugs at least once.  Peer pressure is very common.  I'm 27 and I have never tried drugs nor ever smoked.

depending on where you live and especially in our generation, most people our age have at least smoked pot. I know in fairfield county, connecticut.....you're almost a freak if you haven't.

Cause people bandwagon and they expect everybody to do the same. Congrats missy, your smart!

I get the same response. People think that everyone is like them and do the same things they did growing up. I have never smoked and both of my parents did around me.
