  1. I wnet to primary school in south africa, where security as a big concern..... we were required to wear uniforms so that we could be identified as belonging to that school.

  2. it's cause alot of people get teased if they don't wear the same kind of stuff as the "it kids" so that's one and cause school uniform is cheat so more can afford it so ever one will look alike so no one will be picked at and about college your grown when you go to college so you can do what ever you want cause people in college are 18 and above so their grown and cant be told what to wear unless it shows too much

  3. It's also so kids don't show up at school dressed like hookers. I've seen some kids in middle school show up in belly shirts and high heels. Give me a break. I guess if the parents don't have common sense, the schools try to maintain some order.

Also, in college, people don't care about petty stuff like clothing anymore.

  4. i think its mostly so the poor people don't get bullied because they can't afford designer brands.

  5. It began in Long Beach, California to try and put an end to gang violence. It helped immensely. Those reasons you state are ancillary.

  6. It also assures the school that the students will not be distracted from class by their dress.

  7. Some students ( and their parents ) don't have the sense to wear clothes appropriate for school, so they have to be given guide lines and rules.

  8. dont know. s*x, drugs, abuse maybe?
