  1. most students dont fail math

sounds to me like your kid is just making excuses

the good thing about math is that its constant

it takes a lot of practice, but its not impossible

  2. i find math pretty fun :] i didn't fail math...haha

well..i find algebra 1 and 2 fun ....geometry wasn't too bad

  3. Because they find it boring, and the teachers don't try and make it fun. It's also the lesson where people mess around a lot, causing the teachers to stop teaching and moan a lot!

  4. I think students fail because math is one of those subjects that builds upon what you should have already learned. Thus, if you didn't learn something fully or didn't understand the complete concept it will make it more difficult to advance in upper level math classes (this is the problem with the majority of the college students I tutor).

  5. in my opinion its because it requires good problem solving skills and a lot of thinking. in something like english class, when writing a large essay of some sort, they can try to make some of it up since some teachers will give good points for effort. i am very good at math though, i actually enjoy working out problems. especially long ones. (as long as i know how to do them)

  6. because it is hard but my mothers most favorite subject is math

  7. I actually like math and pretty good at it but aside from that, the government school system is horrible, teachers have a tendency to expect very little from their students. They treat the students like they aren't capable of doing things, then the students pick up on it, and before you know it we have a stupid nation. Private school will do just fine
