  1. you dont know the circumstances of the incident

I one time saw a person double park in front of a pharmacy

turns out it was an emergency

(but before he came out ;a parking enforcement officer gave him a ticket for double parking)

  2. I usually just assume they aren't fit to drive and should have their license revoked

  3. Honestly, there is never any good reason for this.  The simple reason is:  They are jerks, who think that their lives are more important than other people's lives.  "I need to go here, but I can't find a place to park - **** it, I'll just park in a driving lane!  If I inconvenience anybody, it won't be as important as what *I* need to do!"

  4. I have only had this happen to me once, leaving a concert we found that we had been blocked in by a double parker. Luckily the driver of another car came after about 20 minutes and we were able to get out.

I think it's just a matter of people being selfish or inconsiderate. Unfortunately a lot of people out there think that if it doesnt concern them, they shouldnt worry about it.

P.S. My sister in law showed a little road rage herself. She keyed the blockers car. I don't know if the blocker got the message, but sure made my sister in law feel better.
