Question:

Why do multiple sets of wireless headphones cut in and out?

I have four sets of wireless headphones from RadioShack, all the same make/model. I have one base station plugged into the television. All four headsets are set to the same channel (of the 3 options I have, they are all on channel 1).

Why is it that when I turn on more than one headset at the same time, the ones that are on experience periodic though frequent distortions, including a complete drop in sound? I'm no physicist, but it occurs to me that if I yell something, one person hearing that yell does not limit how loudly another might hear it. Why would multiple headphones therefore cause interference with one another?

  1. it's signal interference , you bought the same model they keep picking up each other signals no matter what their settinf is , try to look for diffrent models that run on diffrent signals.

  2. because they work at the same frecuency, try using diferent channels for every headphones or find another equipment to do the same as the base, but with better capacity
