Just be thankful you have a skeleton. Some people don't have that luxury.

it isnt actually your 'bones' cracking, when you flex your muscles and joints, cartilege and tendons  do stretch and you are hearing the connective tissue straightening out, perfectly natural.

However, people report often hearing a bone crack as they fall precariously , and they just know it has broken. That is the only time you would ever truly technically hear a 'bone crack', hopefully never in your lifetime .
