Why do my cheeks go red when i drink wine?

Even after 1 drink they go bright red and hot.

Why is this happeneing?

I have heard its to do with the acid in the wine or something?

Well, I drink Reisling....when I do, only one cheek, left side gets hot and red, the right side is cool and not discolored. I have had bariatric surgery. Just curious as to opinions. Thank you all in advance!!!
