Why do my clothes come out wrinkly??

I just moved out on my own and im not used to doing laundry. But whenever i wash and dry my clothes they come out wrinkly. I use fabric softener and all.. What can i do??

fill the dryer half full, the clothes need room to move around.  When you fill the dryer they wrinkle because there is no room for them to move around freely.

it might be the type of fabric.  read all labels and fold clothes without letting them sit in the dryer.  try adding less clothes to each load.  buy an iron.

I think you are stuffing too much into your machine.  That is generally the cause.  And definitely fold them as soon as they are dry.  Don't let them sit in the dryer after they're done.

You may be over loading your washer & dryer. Dry doing smaller loads at a time. As soon as they finish drying get them out of the dryer and hang them.=)

Letting them sit in dryer to long after done the pressure of cloths packed in one spot eill wrinkle so take out as soon as dryer stops if still warm the heat helps to keep wrinkles out once hung.

I would have to say overloading the dryer is a great point! I would also really hang the most potentially wrinkly clothes up neatly, and they will dry better. worst comes to worst, iron!

It could be overloading the dryer, but temperature of the dryer also affects the way the clothes come out.  Turn the temperature of the dryer down.  Don't let them lay in the dryer either, that will make them wrinkle.  There is a spray on the market now that will remove mild wrinkling from clothes.  When all else fails, iron.

It may not just be as some have said that you are overloading your machine, as it also could be a case that you are using water that it to hot for certain items as that will wrinkle clothes, and it is not always good to always use the drier insteed hang them out in the air.
