  1. Sounds like a protien build up on them. Mine hurt when I get buildup so I put in a new pair and I'm good as new.

  2. You may have an irritation on your eye that wearing the lens exacerbates.  You should see your eye doctor so he/she can determine what is causing the irritation.

  3. You should follow up with you eye care provider.  It is best to keep the lens out till you see them.  It is possible it can still be the lens or it can be your eye.  If you have cleaned the lens well and it still bothers you please keep it out.  Many people damage their eyes by trying to keep wearing a lens that the eye is rejecting for one reason or another.  Your eye doctor should be able to get you in as an emergency visit and discover the problem.

    Good luck

  4. I would try removing the contacts, disinfecting them, and then trying to wear them again. If they are still uncomfortable, discard and replace with new lenses. If your eyes are still bothering you, I would definitely recommend seeing your eye care provider.

You could have a scratch on your cornea, the making of an eye infection, a tear or scratch on the contact so small you can't see it with your naked eye, protein buildup, seasonal allergies, a slight case of dry eye, etc.

I hope your eye starts feeling better!!!
