Why do my eyes do this? Constant eye annoyance.?

I get this film of....um... I think it's mucus ....that constantly appears in my eyes. I don't know what it is. I remove it and it just comes back after an hour or two. Is this serious? It's terrible when i'm driving. What could it be?

This could be due to oily eyelids that you have.  Perhaps you can attempt - compression with a hot towel on your lid margin and gentle scrubbing using cotton buds with lukewarm Johnson Baby shampoo.

i could be wrong, maybe pink eye, you should go see the eye doctor to get it looked at. good luck gettin rid of this

Sounds like an allergy or reaction to something. There are a number of different conditions that could cause similar symptoms. Best to make an appointment with an Opthomologist (eye MD).

The eyes usually do this when we have dry eye or allergy issues. If it is something you have always dealt with then it is likely not a huge issue....however, if this is a new thing, see your eye doctor. Let him/her diagnose your problem.
