Why do my eyes hurt after wearing polarized sunglasses?

Well my eyes may be sensitive to light, but I have worn other sunglasses before that weren't polarized and they didn't hurt my eyes.

Also, I am color-blind. Could this have anything to do with it?

Your Eyes may be very Sensitive to Light. Do you squint a lot? My eyes are sensitive even to Fluorescent Light. SOOOOOOOOOOO, what I did Years Ago was buy " Photo- Sensitve Prescrption glasses. They instantly adjust to whatever light I am in at any given moment. At Night, they are Clear! But, even a car's headlights at night will darken my lenses just long enough for the car to pass. Then they go clear again.
