Question:

Why do my eyes keep going out of focus?

My eyes often go out of focus and sometimes I am completely unable to get them to focus again for at least a few minutes. Why would this be, and is it anything to worry about? My sister said she had a similar problem when she was my age, and now she’s fine.

I’ve just been to see an optician, and although I was slightly long-sighted, she said my eyes were fine. I forgot to ask about the focusing (I know it’s silly, but she’s very, very pretty, and I just forgot).

So I shouldn’t think it’s anything to worry about, but I just thought I’d check…

Thanks.

  1. Go back to the optician and this time tell about the focusing problem.  Try to get one that isn't pretty so your mind doesn't wander.

  2. Who knows but it happens to me when I look into the sun or a bright light or when I'm tired and my eyes always spread apart

  3. Go back again and explain the problem. You only get one set of eyes, so look after them
