Sometimes like when I'm talking to someone my eyes go out of focus and I have to refocus. It feels like a strain to keep them focused when I'm looking at one object and feels better when I just let them go out of focus. I don't know if this is the cause but I'm on the computer constantly, at work and I also take classes online. I'm really not sure what the problem is, if there even is one.

  1. GET CHECKED!

When I focus on stuff. I see kinda like doubles.. and Blur. I ended up having Double Vision.

Getting checked does not hurt at all, and there is no risk.

It makes you nervous at first though.

  2. I'm thinking of two types of occular problems that can cause these symptoms. If you're nearing the age of 40 then you might want to get checked for presbyopia, as it affects everyone. It is now thought to occur because the crystalline lens loses it's flexability (check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persbyopia ). The first symptoms are described as eye fatigue and as losing focus now and then.

The other type is astigmatism, a condition in which the cornea, instead of being completely round is more like an american football, making light miss the retina (or in rarer cases, there is also astigmatism of the lens, but I'm fairly certain you don't have that). Practically everyone has some amount of astigmatism, but most people don't need correction as it is very mild. But, with small amounts of astigmatism, you get eye fatigue when focusing (this is actually happening to me right now, as my eye haven't stabilized yet. I'll eventually have about -1.00 diopeter of astigmatism, but right now it's so low I can't correct it with glasses and it hurts, so I feel your pain :) For more information check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/astigmatism ).

It is also possible that you simply strain too much when looking at the computer. This, however, can be solved easily by taking small breaks from the computer. Simply look aside for about twenty seconds every 30 minutes and you should be fine. On a side note, don't forget to blink a lot as we blink less when on the computer.

Either way, you should probably talk to an optometrist. He'll know exactly what the problem is.

  3. I thinks that's normal. It happened to me too when I'm tired
