Your blood flows down to your feet and legs. Everybody gets swelling after standing on their feet all day. Some people have more extreme swelling than others - this may be caused by poor blood circulation. You should ensure that you move around and rest more regularly.

If you have really bad swelling you should speak to a medical professional to find the best treatment.

Maybe try sleeping with a pillow under your knees and feet? May help reduce the swelling.

Make sure you are drinking A LOT of water...excessive soda can cause this...on a more serious note this can be a sign of diabetes
