Why do my fuses keep on frying on my amp?

Question

Put in some new fuses and then theres a little smoke and then my fuses fry. its an 1800 watt rocksford forsgate. it happens even when i have no music playing.

maybe a short, i would say at least a 100 amp fuse cuz thats alot of power

try putting a higher amp fuse. If its the inline fuse in the power cable, you will want at least 80 amp. if it's the fuse on the amp itself, then i would suggest trying 30 amp fuses. if that doesn't help, then make sure there isn't a bare wire that could short the circuit out.
