  1. My wedding rings turn my finger black, It's seems that it is lack of water. They are appraised at

$17,000.00 it can't be that they are cheap ring or not gold.

  2. Even "real" gold has some concentration of other metals. The higher the gold carat, the lower the concentration of other metals. I had a good quality 14k gold ring that repeatedly turned my fingers black. The only temporary reprieve was from rhodium plating , which the jewellers offered to do at no charge. Unfortunately, the rhodium does wear off and has to be done again. Eventualy got tired off it. The 18k gold ring that I have now has never once left any marks on my skin.

  3. I have very expensive gold rings and now they are turning my fingers black after I eat citrus. I'm going with the answer maybe it is an iron deficiency. If anyone has a better idea, I'm open to it. Thanks

  4. yup i've had my wedding ring for over 10 years, def real, never turned my finger black before...i rubbed it on the back of my hand and sure enough it marked me....i'll start an iron pill tomorrow! thank you!!
