Question:

Why do my gums hurt?

I don't know what to do or what happened. I have had a filling there because I had cavities. Every time I touch it, it hurts, irritates, and itches. Is it another cavity? It is sensitive when I touch it, but when I drink cold liquids, it's fine. I don't know if it is another cavity, or they may have fixed the wrong one because I might have bit on the plastic thing they gave me wrong. Should I get another X-ray (could I)? Or just a check up or am I fine?
