Why do my hair becomes oily after a day of shower?

I go and have a shower every to days so to keep fresh, but my hair goes oily after a day of shower. Why is this? You dont have this poblem withe the dyed hair but with natural hair...why?

Any advise or tips how to keep the hair oily free?

  1. Because you're a greasy horrible filth monster.


  2. try to avoid conditioner, or at least make sure it only touches the tips of your hair. its better to have naturally greasy hair, its less likely to get ruined as its naturally moisturised. also the more you wash it, the more dependant your hair becomes on it, just like your skin, if you moisturised your skin, it becomes dependant. your body is created to wash itself.  

  3. the more you wash it, the more it needs washing. when you wash it you strip it of natural oils basically, so you produce more and in one go, therefore your hair is greasier quicker.

    use a shampoo designed for oily hair, they help.

  4. I used to be able to go without washing my hair for 3-4 days before it looked greasy.  Since being pregnant i now have to wash it every single day.  Different people have to do it different times and amounts and i dont think dying it makes any difference.
