Im 17.

And lately my legs have been hurting alot. At first I thought it could just be that I'm tired, and school has started, and I'm not used to walking that much. But it has already been 3 weeks!

I don't get much sleep, could that be it? The most sleep I sleep is probably like 5-6 hours a night..

Anyone know????

Thanx!

  1. umm could it be growing pains??

  2. Glutamine can be purchased at your local Kmart or Walmart.  This helps with sore muscles.  Also you should sleep more than 8 hours a day.  Some athletes sleep over 10 hours a day to recover from the training.  When my muscles are sore I sleep more and it goes away after two or three days.  Also you should consume more protein in your diet.  Eating more protein will help your muscles recover as they are the building blocks for your body.  If your legs are simply tired without soreness then most likely you are not eating enough and also not getting enough rest.  If you are extremely sedentary most of the day then your legs might be weak and you should consider doing calisthenics for your legs or going to the gym.  Exercise and build up your quads, hamstrings and calves.

Based on your sleep hours I would suggest more sleep as the best and first solution to try.
