Why do my legs twitch at night when I'm trying to sleep?

I'll just be laying there and my legs will get all tingly then twitch up without me even thinking about it.

It's really irritating. How can I stop it?

It's not every night, it's kind of on-and-off but still.

  1. It's called restless legs syndrome. There is a medication for it, but there may be a homeopathic remedy also. Go to your doctor or research treatments is my only suggestion.


  2. not an expert on this, but it sounds like restless leg syndrome. There is medication available, ask your dr.

  3. it happens to me to. i would say restless leg syndrome or maybe if you have a hard time going to sleep not only because of that it may be insomnia.
