Why do my lips get so red when i go in the water?

its really annoying and it makes me look even more paler than i usually am. i hate it a lot. i went to wild waves today (water park) and when i looked in the mirror it just disgusted me. please i wanna know why its happening to me and not my friends? and how i can make them normal?

  1. The reason is because there is more blood flow to your lips. This occurs with exercise, not simply due to water being in water. You may notice your lips turn red with vigorous exercise as well. I suggest you do not let it bother you but actually embrace it. Red lips are a sign of youth and health. (It is also a sign of sexual excitement!) That is precisely why lipstick is used, to look young and even s**y. With advancing age, you will no doubt look fondly on the days when you had such red lips. Also, expect your lips to thin out and be less full as you get older. That's why women get collagen injections to look more youthful and healthy.


  2. I have the same thing that happens to me.

    You can wear a chapstick with an SPF because they might be getting burned.

    It could also be an affect of the chlorine to your lips. Put on chapstick when you get out of the water to help that too.
