Why do my parents not trust me to have a shower ......?

i always have to get a bath I hate it i'm being treated like a baby and I'm 13 , 14 in 5 days ??????

Maybe its a water saving issue. If you fill the tub up the amount of water is easier to control but if you shower you take longer and use more water, plus it can cause mold easier depending on your shower.

I would say that their behavior is a tad controlling!!  You need to tell them that you are growing up and would appreciate making your own decisions on how to perform your personal hygiene.  Tell them that sitting in bath water seems less sanitary than taking a shower and then tell them that you will limit the shower to 10 minutes (maybe they are worried that you will use up all the hot water or something); ask them what the issue is and why they think a bath is better than taking a shower.  (and yes, they are treating you like a baby.)

i think a shower would be a lot safer then a bath.

its easier to drown in a bath...

go in the bathroom, lock the door (barricade it if you have to) and take yourself a nice long shower.
