Why do my ribs hurt when i sneeze?

Some times when i sneeze quite hard i feel like i'm going to damage my ribs, is this normal?

  1. When I was really really thin I had this problem. Guess I didn't have enough fat to cushion my ribs!


  2. That happens sometimes to me when i sneeze to hard too.I think the force of the sneeze causes abdominal muscle and tissue strain near the ribs. I wouldn't worry about it.
