  1. you most likely have a condition commonly called 'shin splints.'  although it is difficult to know exactly what you've injured from my computer, it is most likely some overuse/technique injury.  fortunately, shin splints are not a serious condition and are more of an inflammation or irritation.  try to run on softer ground, like grass or on dirt trails if possible, if you must run on pavement, consider getting shoes that have better cushioning.  and also, be sure to run as naturally as possible, pounding feet down onto the pavement can cause this pain so can running down hills.  you can ice them to relieve some pain but often times they are slow to heal and can recur.  its best if you stay off hard surfaces and down slopes.

  2. you have shin splints.

ice them everyday and don't run until they feel better.

  3. Besides the ice and rest, you have to go to a shoe pro and make sure you're running on the right shoe.  Until I found the right running shoe for me, I was always fighting with shin splints and knee problems.
