Why do my skateboard trucks squeak?

I want my trucks really tight first of all so I can learn more things. How do I tighten my skateboarding trucks and I would like to know how to make my skateboard trucks not squeak. Thanks for help and guaranteed 10 points.

  1. In get this all the time Don't worry its not a problem just throw some wd-40 on the bushings no where else then skate with them for like 30 sec and then throw a tad bit more and you ll bee good

Well first, you will see if you turn your deck so the griptape is on the floor and your looking down at the trucks, you will see right in the middle a nut that is bigger than the ones you s***w in on the sides to make your wheels fit in, this along with the bolt its attached to is the kingpin area.  Tighten that middle nut with a wrench and then the same to the other side.  When the wrench is there, turn left, so the nut will go right.  This will tighten your trucks.

    Second, I don't recommend WD-40 for anything on a skateboard.  I know other than wheels it should be alright, but i don't use it.  Use some kind of lubricant like Tri-Flow and they should work fine.  Good luck.

  3. they squek because their old and not oiled. just put some WD-40 (grease) on them and theyll stop squeaking. there is a special tool called a "T-Tool" (google it) that tightens your trucks
