Why do my subs cut out when i put my volume up?

sound like they pop then when i lower the volume they work normal.?

  1. dat sounds like u need new or more amps wit more power, so u can listen 2 ur music @ a higher volume.


  2. They should work fine together. You either have it wired incorrectly or you have a bad sub and/or amp.  Possibly a bad ground. Do you have the ground attached to the frame of the car?  Is your power and ground wire a big enough gauge?   I would use 8 gauge at least.  Make sure the gain on your amp isn't turned up to MAX.  Are you running your subs in parallel or series?

  3. you may need a capacitor. Look it up for info. Im not 100% sure though

  4. It sounds like a lack of power to push them at high volume.

  5. they aren't getting enough juice if they're cutting out at high volumes

  6. you need more power its eaither battery or amp
