  1. make sure ur to battery wires are connected to the fuse by the battery....

make sure they are pushed in all the way

also check all ur wiring to make sure their is no loose connection anywhere

  2. That q logic box is way to small around 1 cuft gross, your port tune is way too high that is why it sounds the way it does , go to www.audioenhancers.com , the enclosure you want is either the kv or pb series ( some circuit city's are audio enhancers dealers )

    good luck.

  3. Make sure the polarity (positive and negative) are correct on both subs. Check the gain on the amp, make sure its not all the way down. Check the cross over adjustment, make sure its not above 80hz. I would check  everything before you go spend all that money on a new box. Hope this helped.

  4. See what Alpine recommends for the type/size of enclosure to use and go with it. More here http://spkrbox1.spaces.live.com

I love how Paul tells you what to do but not HOW to do it...

"Check the gain on the amp, make sure its not all the way down."

    So where should it be?

The purpose of the gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) to the input of the amp to prevent clipping (damage by over powering).

Here is a guide that will help you set the gain correctly http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php...

You'll need a multi-meter (AC voltmeter, $15 from Radio$hack), Microsoft Excel and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

If you don't have Excel, use this link http://www.box.net/shared/nkkw1dhk4g

  5. The bass could be low because the box you have is a prefab box, which may not meet the specs of the subs, also, do you have dual voice coils subs? how are they wired? if the bass sounds far away it could be a polarity issue (reversed speaker connections) check the amps settings, you may have the low pass filter off, or you may have the high pass filter on, is the amp bridged? what are the amp specs wattage@ohms, where the speakers working fine before, check cables RCAs,which way do you have the speakers facing, check for any air leaks............
