Why do my tattoo's itch ???

I've had my tattoo's over a year and once in a while the start to itch really bad..I do scratch them sometimes when i can't help it.. there on my wrist ...Is there any reason why this happens and what i can do about it???

I have the same thing occasionally, I think it's some kind of a reaction to the ink.

maybe its because your skin is dry? just put some lotion on them and you should be fine. if it persists then go to the artist and/or doctor

a tattoo is technically a wound. just like with any wound, sometimes they get to itching. use lotion, and just don't scratch it to where it creates another wound, or you'll lose your ink.

That means you need to put moisturizer on it, because its dry.

its just dry. tattooed skin occasionally needs a little extra moisture once in awhile.
